FloorworX is an independent South African-owned company that began the migration to its current form through a management buyout in 2004. The company’s history, however, goes back to 1953 when British construction materials company Marley plc opened a flooring outlet in Johannesburg. Within a few years Marley began manufacturing vinyl flooring at a factory in Nigel and finally branched into plumbing and roofing products.
From the buyout in 2004 the company was a true South African controlled business until November 2006 when FloorworX was listed on the JSE AltX. Today, FloorworX is part of Accéntuate Ltd and enjoys a dominant position in the South African market.
With over 60 years of business experience, FloorworX is the only manufacturer in South Africa who produces semi-flexible vinyl tiles and fully-flexible vinyl sheeting and tiles. Our locally manufactured products are SANS mark-bearing.

FloorworX distributes a comprehensive range of internationally renowned resilient floor coverings, wood laminates, luxury vinyl planks and engineered wooden floors. A wide range of flooring adhesives, accessories, floorcare and Bona machine & maintenance products can also be acquired through FloorworX. In addition, FloorworX offers technical advice on sub-floor preparation; gives floor installation support, as well as cleaning and aftercare assistance.
